Hey guys what's going on? Just letting you know that everything is all ready to go and starting July 1st we will be in the lovely Austin Tx. recording our next album! We are super excited about it all and can't wait for it to be done and in your ears. Things have been rough for us, and there was a lot of shit we had to wade through in the past year and there's still piles of it ahead. But we're not worried about it, it's only making is stronger as people and better as musicians. I know people like to talk shit but don't worry about it, nothing anyone can say will stop us from making music because that's just what we do. We're confident that our music will speak for us and definitely confident that a year's hiatus don't mean shit. So get excited with us and let's all enjoy life and music! We will be filming ourselves in the studio, and do constant updates, taking tons of pictures, and who knows quite possibly a new website(?)... so stick around. I know the webstore is down and you probably can't find our cd's or merch anywhere, this is all part of the aforementioned shit. All will be rectified. Speaking of rectifying... we have some Mesa-Boogie gear up for sale, stufff we've toured wit and recorded all of Halifax's material with, so email Adam@HalifaxRock.com for more info. Hey guys, we've added some shows to our calendar section go check them
out and see if one is near you! We are trying out a whole bunch of new
songs and so far these shows are killing it. We've also added a rough
demo(recorded in our practice space) of a new song on our MySpace

You haven't really heard from us because aside from our short trek to the UK, we've been busy writing. However, we do need your help. Our record is going to be coming out in the UK in early 2008 and there's a TV channel called "SCUZZ" that might play the Our Revolution Video.

Just a short update on whats going in the world of Halifax. Our US tour ends on April 20th and unfortunately we will no longer be hitting Canada due to situations out of our control. Greeley Estates WILL still be playing Canada and we urge you to checkout greeleyestates.net for their tour dates. We still will be playing all scheduled US tour dates. We deeply apologize to all our Canadian fans, and we promise we will tour Canada in the near future.

Hopefully you caught us on MTV2 tonight and saw that we made it to the Dew Circuit Breakout Finals that tapes live and airs Saturday, Dec 2nd at 6:30 PM EST! We are doing a signing / meet & greet every day at (usually) 6pm at our sweet BRIGHT NEON GREEN MERCH TENT. It says HALIFAX on it. It seems we're usually near the Smartpunk tent, so use that to find the row we're in, then look for something bright green. I'm pretty sure in Virgina we'll do the siging at 5pm because I think we play at 6:30 that day. Anyway, come hangout and stuff, because we want to meet you and sign whatever you want us to sign! Halifax will be touring with Hawthorne Heights from June 19 to 29 in the USA and then with Hawthorne Heights, Story of the Year, Anberlin & Zao from July 13 to 25th in Canada.

Halifax's new CD "The Inevitability of a Strange World" will be released in Canada on May 23rd as well, making their release date of May 23rd inclusive of all of North America.
The Japanese release date is May 17th. Presale is slated for a 4/20 start date!
